Absa Life commenced operations in 2015, after receiving our license from the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) and was the 1st life assurance company in Kenya to adopt fully, a bancassurance model of distribution.

Absa Life is a truly Kenyan company with a Pan African heritage as a subsidiary of the Absa Group Limited.

We have an extensive, well established local presence and combine our global product knowledge with regional expertise whilst drawing experience from other African markets where the Absa Group Limited runs leading life assurance businesses, to deliver high quality service.We draw our strength from the quality of our diversified investments that ensures a robust financial background.
